Italian Style Chili

Servings 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 lb DiGregorio’s bulk Salsiccia
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cans ei Fratelli Tomato Sauce 8oz
  • 1 can Dei Fratelli chopped Mexican tomatoes 15oz undrained
  • 1 can Kidney beans 16oz drained & rinsed
  • 1 cup Water less or more depending on desired thickness
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 cup shell or small size pasta

Instructions

  1. Brown meat and onion in large saucepan; drain.
  2. Add tomato sauce, undrained Mexican tomatoes, water, pasta, beans, ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese, cumin, and chili powder; stir. Cover; cook on medium heat 10 to 12 minutes or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
  3. Sprinkle with remaining parmesean cheese just before serving.
