Recipes Amaretti Cookies and Cream with Honey Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 Quart French Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 1 Bag Amaretti Cookies
  • 1 Cup Honey
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Lemon Jucie

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine water and sugar. When sugar has fully dissolved, add honey, lemon juice and cinnamon. Reduce sauce by about one-third over medium-low heat, stirring often. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

  2. In a small zip lock bag, crush 2 cookies per desired serving amount. Place 2-3 scoops of ice cream in serving bowls. Sprinkle crushed cookies over the ice cream. Generously drizzle sauce over cookies and ice cream. Garnish with additional cookies and serve.
